Overview
Bob Owens Retirement Village is a large full-service village in Bethlehem. The manager leads a successful team with Bob Owens Village being awarded the Ryman Group Village of the Year for 2020.
Ryman Healthcare is an experienced operator with 35 villages nationwide and the quality of their information packs demonstrate this.
I attended the Open Day which gave me an insight into this efficient village.

Entry Costs
Entry costs vary depending on whether a town house or apartment is chosen. There is a waiting list for town houses however serviced apartments become available reasonably regularly. Three bedroom apartments can currently be purchased for $995,000 and two bedroom apartments for $785,000 at the time of the review.
Deferred Management Fee

Village Size
This is a large village with 297 units (Source: Retirement Village Association) as well as a rest home, dementia centres and hospital. There are approximately 550 residents in the village.
Age of Entry
The minimum age for new residents is 70
